Kenneth H. Stanley

While recently becoming President and CEO of TRI-MONT Engineering Co. Ken leads the firm in its services in the field of energy development. Development efforts involve providing engineering consulting services to clients in the field of alternative/biomass fuel supply, bulk fuel storage, power generation, steam generation, and natural gas infrastructure development.

Ken has over 28-years of engineering consulting experience. Prior to joining TRI-MONT Engineering Co., Co. Ken served in the capacity of Board Member, Principal and Vice President, of a medium to large engineering firm whose duties included the oversight of a 75-125 person energy Infrastructure engineering consulting group. This group supported the natural gas, oil, products and electric transmission and distribution and the power generation industry. This support involved providing Civil, Survey, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering services as well as Project Management, Construction Management, Design/Build and Operations and Maintenance services. Ken represented this company with major utility transmission, distribution and power generation clientele. He managed over $120-million in engineering services, in excess of 60% of the firm’s revenue generation. Ken also led the firm’s growth nationally with offices in Denver, Co; Houston, TX; Fairmont, WV; Dayton, OH; Bedford, NH; Portland, ME; Waltham & Plymouth, MA. In addition, the energy infrastructure group performed work in 32-states in the US and projects in Peru and Canada.

Prior to entering the civilian arena, Ken served as an active duty member of the United States Air Force Combat Control Team, Special Forces/Special Ops. His military responsibilities included the operation of portable tactical navigational aids; GPS positioning; the airfield management of tactical short field landing zones, drop zones and extraction zones as well as the responsibilities of a multi-positional Air Traffic Control Operator, located in the USA and Central America.

Cliff Schindel, CSP CEP

Cliff Schindel joined TRI-MONT Engineering Co. Management Team in 2013 and is leading our Midwest expansion. In his role, he holds a broad scope of responsibilities which include project management, HSE compliance, and managing our Midwest office.

Cliff is an environmental engineer bringing more than 13 years practical project management experience and 20 years of industry-tested environmental, health, and safety experience.

Cliff’s project experience leading, or assisting, in large-scale infrastructure developments that have included: oil/gas pipelines, electric transmission/distribution, other infrastructure, and site remediation. Leading projects with scopes of work that included civil, mechanical, survey, permitting, inspection, construction oversight, and commissioning/start-up and execution budgets in excess of $1MM. Other core management skills include budget development and tracking; multi-team coordination; schedule tracking; and action tracking.

As our lead in HSE compliance issues, Cliff has earned certifications from the BCSP as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and the ABCEP as a Certified Environmental Professional (CEP). Previously he was a certified 10/30 Hour OSHA Outreach Trainer. Cliff has significant experience with State/Federal EPA, OSHA, DHS, USCG and DOT regulations in multiple market sectors (e.g., construction, manufacturing) as well as developing site security plans.

Additionally Cliff is a US Veteran, having served honorably in the U.S. Coast Guard aboard three USCG cutters.

Meghan LaPlante

Currently, Meghan LaPlante is the Administration Manager at TRI-MONT Engineering Co. Working in a capacity to manage all internal administrative duties, including, but not limited to Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Vendor Management, State Registrations, and Office Management.  Meghan has 15 years experience working in an administrative capacity for engineering companies. Five (2003-2008) years in a support capacity, and upon completion of her education, eight years (2008-2016)  in a Support/Management capacity.

Ms. LaPlante’s responsibilities have included administrative duties in the Energy Infrastructure industry, as well as Corporate Support. Ms. LaPlante’s responsibilities have included tracking  utilization, creating qualifications packages for existing and prospective clients, keeping up to date OSHA statistics and reporting. Ms. LaPlante works closely with Project Managers and Principals to assist in completing tasks when necessary and has much experience with interacting with engineers as well as a corporate team.

Ms. LaPlante has been the sole Administrative Personal to a small start up engineering company. In an administrative capacity her responsibilities included worked closely with the CEO and Project Managers on scheduling, monthly invoicing and account receivable outreach, registration of the company for Insurance and Certificates of Authorization for work in Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Maine, Vermont, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Working in a marketing capacity including having organized & hosted a networking open house displaying our services for 60+ people including working with a caterer and supply rental facility, as well as creating all marketing materials including brochures, logos, office artwork, and attending all trade shows and regional conferences.

Meghan LaPlante holds a BA in English from the University of New Hampshire, where she also co-managed the advertising and business side of the university newspaper, The New Hampshire from 2007-2008.
